Tentang Pahlawan

Pahlawan Era Modern 

Walaupun hari pahlawan sudah lewat beberapa hari yang lalu, namun itu tidak mengurangi semangat saya untuk memposting ini '-')9

Pahlawan dalam kamus bahasa Indonesia berarti, "orang yang menonjol keberaniannya dan pengorbanannya dalam membela kebenaran ; pejuang yang gagah berani".

Dari definisi diatas sih menurut saya jadi pahlawan itu tidak teramat susah. Dan sebenarnya setiap manusia pasti punya jiwa kepahlawanan.

Pahlawan dulu, identik dengan seseorang yang gagah, yang membawa senjata, yang berjuang dengan susah payah untuk merebut, mempertahankan atau memperjuangkan sesuatu yang ingin dicapai. 

Seperti contoh para pahlawan Indonesia jaman dahulu. Mereka benar-benar mempunyai niat murni untuk memperjuangkan tanah air. Karena pengorbanan dan jasa mereka lah Garuda Indonesia ini dapat berdiri dengan gagahnya hingga saat ini.

Lalu bagaimana Para Pahlawan di Era modern sekarang ini?

Menurut saya, para pahlawan di jaman sekarang mungkin tidak sehebat dan tidak memiliki sifat se heroik seperti pahlawan di masa lalu. Mengapa?

Itu karena era modern (akrab dengan Globalisasi) sekarang, manusia cenderung hidup individualistis dan apatis sama lingkungan sosialnya, sehingga sulit untuk ditemukan yang namanya "Pahlwan", walaupun mungkin masih ada di luar sana yang memiliki sifat heroik.

Padahal dari definisi Pahlawan tadi, menjadi pahlawan itu bukanlah hal yang sulit. 

Dari tindakan kecil yang bisa menolong atau mengorbankan sesuatu dalam kesulitan seseorang, itu juga bisa disebut pahlawan.

Tapi karena budaya masyarakat Indonesia tergerus oleh arus global, maka sulit untuk mencari pahlawan yang benar-benar tulus dan rela berkorban seperti para penjajah dulu.

Jadi, untuk menjadi pahlawan modern saat ini ataupun untuk melanjutkan jasa para pahlawan di masa lalu sebenarnya mudah. Memberikan peran dalam segala bidang untuk kemajuan Indonesia itu sudah tentu perlu dilakukan. 

Namun selain itu, kita juga harus bertanya kepad diri sendiri bagaimana kita bisa menjadi pahlawan? apakah kita sudah pernah menjadi pahlawan untuk diri kita sendiri atau orang lain? Dan bisakah kita untuk meneruskan jasa pahlawan dan menanamkan nilai kepahlawanan dalam diri kita sendiri ataupun dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara?

Itu semua ditentukan oleh kita, khususnya generasi muda. Ayo kita bersama-sama menjadi pahlawan dan meneruskan peran pahlawan untuk Indonesia tercinta dengan aksi yang nyata! ^^
